Analysis of Annual Plan 1990-91 (Incorporating Outlays & Targets for 7th Five Year Plan 1985-90) Education Sector

Abstract

From Preface: Every year generally during the period preceding, the presentation of the Annual Budget, Planning Commission holds discussions with representatives of State Governments, These discussions are initially held sectorally. Education Division of the Planning Commission has been compiling, during the last few years, analysis of the annual plans of State Governments relating to the Education sector comprising General Education, Technical Education, A.rt & Culture and Youth Affairs and Sports, Valuable data relating to financial outlays and physical targets in respect of various schemes, including MNP comprising Elementary Education and Adult Education are collected. Every year these data are analysed and circulated for internal use.
