| Abstract: | From Introduction: Ministry of Human Resource Development Department, Government of India on recommendations of the State Education Ministers Conference held on October 1998, decided to launch a holistic programme required concerted and accelerated efforts to achieve the goal of Universal Elementary Education within a stipulated period of time. This scheme known as “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan" (SSA) was approved by the central cabinet on 16th November 2000. |
