Abstract

From Synopsis: The project for the development of Primary Education under District Primary Education Programme in Malappuram is prepared on the basis of guidelines issued by Government of India. Universalisation of Primary Education by 2000 A.D. and attainment of Minimum Levels of Learning are the two goals of the Project, Achieving equitable access, total enrolment and retention by 2000 A.D. and improving the quality of Education by attaining the minimum levels of learning at mastery level in all children are the objectives of the project.
