Abstract: | From Chapt. II, Education Profile: Prior to the arrival of Christian Missionaries, the Mizo people had no organized educational system on written language. The Missionaries introduced the Roman Script, thus the present educational system started. The first Missionaries Rev. F. W. Savidge and Rev. J. H. Lorrain came to South Lushai hills (Lunglei District), and started Mission Schools at Serkawn in 1903. Thus the first Lower Primary Examination was conducted in 1903, in which three students successfully started. |
