dc.description.abstractFrom Plan Over View: Sarva Sikhiya Abhiyan is an effort to universalize the Elementary education by community ownership of the School System. It is an attempt to provide an opportunity for improving human capability to all children through provision of community participation. It intends to provide useful & relevant elementary education to all children within the age group of 6 to 14 by 2010. Another objective is to remove regional and gender disparities with the active participation of the community in the management of school. It realizes the importance of early childhood care education. It takes care of the children with the age group of 3 to 14 as a continuum of all different supports to pre school learning, ICDS centers & in non iCDS Areas.en_US
