Abstract: Following the Mission mandate, the Ministry in collaboration with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has conducted a large scale Foundational Learning Study (FLS) in March, 2022. FLS covered Grade 3 students and aims to benchmark Foundational Literacy and Numeracy in 20 Indian languages, which will enable to track the progress of a child.
