| Abstract: | The year 2014-15 saw a plethora of initiatives taken by the CBSE, starting with the declaration of results till the commencement of examinations. While the annual exams were smoothly conducted, for the first time, On-Screen Marking (OSM) was introduced for classes X and XII. This was a novel step which made use of latest technology in evaluation. The process of re-evaluation was another first time attempt to make the system more transparent. The students could ask for revaluation, if not satisfied with verification of marks or even after taking the photocopy of the answer scripts. The modalities of this facility were explained in detail to public before hand. |
