dc.description.abstractThe Sub-Committee had made efforts to reach out to parents, educationists, teachers' unions and other stakeholders to elicit their opinion. In response, many letters and feedbacks were received from various state functionaries, organizations/individuals. View of the stakeholders were circulated amongst the members of the Committee, incorporated in the questionnaire drafted by the Committee and referred to the Departments of School Education/Elementary Education in States and Union Territories to seek their written replies.en_US
