Abstract: This brochure is designed to give a statistical picture of the growth of the Indian Economy during the period 1950-51 to 1966-67 covering Three Five Tear Plan periods and the Annual Plan 1966-67. A series of Selected Key Indicators, with base 1950-51 = 100, wherever possible, under the headings (I) Main Indicators, (II) Indicators of Social Structure, (III) Indicators of Social Activity, (IV) Indicators of Economic Structure and (V) Indicators of Economic Activity, have been presented with a view to indicate the relative growths in the broad sectors of development.
