Abstract

From Preface: It is matter of great pride and privilage that District Shivpuri has been inducted in five new districts selected for launching District Primary Education Programme under the auspices of Rajeev Gandhi Prathmik Shiksha Mission. We are constitutionally committed to provide free primary compulsory education to every child of the age group of 6 - 11 years. The present plan as it is evolved through active public participation of people at the village level, has helped them to realise their own responsibilities as well as ptentialities towards educating their own children.
