| Abstract: | This plan proposed to set up 1,000 additional pre-primary schools and to enroll 45 ,000 additional children of the age-group 3-6 during the Fifth Five Year Plan and thereby increase the enrollment ratio at the pre-primary stage from 11% to 30% by the end of Fifth Five Year Plan. Starting of 10 English-medium Shishu Bihars (Nursery Schools) and strengthening of administration/ supervision of Pre-school Education will also be completed during the Fifth Plan. |
