| Abstract: | From Introduction: In order to meet the challenges of the time Govt. of India have announced the new "National Policy on Education 1986" in may 1986 and also formulated a detailed programme action to implement the directions of the policy. So far school education is concerned the new policy lays special emphasis on the removal of disparities, to equalise educational opportunity by attending to the specific needs of those who have been denied equality so far and to make education of quality available to all children In the school going age group. |
