| Abstract: | A Team was constituted to undertake the study of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in Tamil Nadu (TN) and the team selected, in consultation with the SSA authorities, Erode and Thiruvannamalai Districts for detailed study. In addition to scrutiny of basic records at the schools, the team carried out interviews based on a structured questionnaire with the Village Education Committee (VEC) President, Head Masters, Teachers, parents and students. |
