| Abstract: | From Foreword: The National Council of Educational Research and Training had sanctioned a research project, in cooperation with the Government of USA Office of Education Department of Health, Education and Welfare - to make a ’Study in Costs of Education in India during the period 1051-61'. The aim of the project is to study the growth of educational expenditure in a comprehensive fashion with a view to identifying the trends in its growth, the relative contribution of different managements, various source from which expenditure is met, and the objects for which the funds have been utilised. |
