From Introduction: In this issue—Part II Section—B of the University Development in India statistics relating to ‘Doctorate Degrees Awarded’ and ‘Examination Results’ for 1974-75 are presented based on the returns received from Various universities in the country. Tabular statements in this issue indicate university-wise and subject-wise picture of doctorate degrees awarded as well as state-wise and university-wise picture of different aspects of out-turn data such as ‘Division-wise Details’, ‘Subject-wise Break-up at the M.A. & M.Sc. Levels’ etc.
