Abstract

India is the Second Populous and Seventh Largest Country in the World. Our Sub-continents under the rule of Hindus, Muslims and later on under the British. The British ruled the country for nearly two centuries and ours is the only country in the world to have attained independence through non-violence under the lender- ship of Mahatama Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajaji and others.
