Challenge of Education: An Approach to New Education Policy

Abstract

From Introduction: The document, circulated by the Department of Education, Government of India on the challenge of education facing the nation today has been debated and discussed in various forums through out the length and breadth of Rajasthan, These debates have focussed on the wide spread concern of all sections of society about the inadequacy of the present educational system. The question before us is how to translate this concern into effective action so that we can give to the country an educational system which is more meaningful, relevant and acceptable than the present one.
