| Abstract: | The economic situation in Rajasthan during the year 1975-76 was characterised by control over the price spiral, heavy rain-fall and its impact on agricultural production, marked improvement in the performance of the public sector and mixed trends in industrial and mineral production. The declaration of the state of emergency in June, 1975 coupled with initiation of the 20 point economic programme and the favourable weather conditions led to relatively improved economic performance during the year. |
