Abstract

From Preface: The Village Education Committee (V.E.C.) has an important role to achieve.... the goal of universalization of primary Education. Even with a better plan it may not be possible to achieve the proper goal until the participation of the community Concerned is sought. Under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Programme (SSA) the control of Primary Education is being handed over to VECs so that the villagers are able to plan Programme of action themselves, identify the importance of child education & be a part of innovative methodology whole heartedly.
