dc.description.abstractThe basic approach of the 7th Plan is to increase both quantitative rand qualitative aspects of Education. Under the quantitative programme educational facilities has been enhanced by opening schools in the schoolless villages by upgrading single teacher school as 2 teachers school and High Schools as Higher Secondary School over and above the existing Higher Secondary Schools. To meet the requirement of teachers in these schools 244 Matriculate teachers have been appointed during the previous two years of the 7th Plan Period.en_US
