Abstract: From Order: In the G.O. read above, orders were issued re-organising the Education Department and setting up offices of Deputy Directors (Education) at Revenue District level. The three offices of the Regional Deputy Directors of Public Instruction at Trivandrum, Ernakulam and Kozhikode, were also abolished. The Director of Public Instruction has reported to Government in the letter read above, that for the proper functioning of the new offices and the department, the officers have to be delegated with sufficient powers to carry out business. He has also submitted necessary proposals in this regard.
