| Abstract: | From Introduction: This publication, which is tenth in the series, makes available the information on budget provision for 1977-78 for education, made by all States/Union Territories and at the Centre. It contains an analysis of budgeted expenditure for education for the years 1975-76 (Actuals), 1976-77 (Revised Estimates) and 1977-78 (Budget Estimates). While, the information in case of states and territories with legislature has been compiled from their respective budget documents for the year 1977-78, in case of Centre and other Territories, the information has been taken from the respective Demands for Grants-1977-78. |
