Block Level Statistics Trivandrum District (Kerala)

Abstract

From Preface: To facilitate decentralised planning the Department of Economics and Statistics is now engaged in building up block level data for each district. The present report relating to Trivandrum district was prepared by the officers and staff of the district office (Economics and Statistics) Trivandrum under the guidance of the Deputy Director, Trivandrum. It is hoped that this report will be of considerable use to the planners for formulation of schemes and for evaluation of the schemes implemented at the block level. Since attempts are being made to bring out similar publications, for other districts, suggestions for improvement are most welcome.
