| Abstract: | From Introduction: Education is the most important single factor in achieving rapid economic development and in creating social order founded on values of freedom, social justice and equal opportunities. Programmes of Education lie at the base of effort to forge bonds of common citizenship, harness energies of the people and to develop natural and human resources. In 1948 when Himachal Pradesh came into existence, the facilities of education consisted of only 243 primary, 52 Middle and 10 High Schools. |
