Abstract

From Preface; This district report on Fifth All India Educational Survey pertains to district GURGAON. It is the result of continuous, steady And sincere efforts of Dr. Sarwan Kumar Deputy Director who created family like but responsible attitude to conduct the survey in the most realistic manner that survey could be completed and district report could be written. All Primary Middle, High and Senior Secondary schools managed by government private aided and private unaided bodies have been surveyed and information, collected in forms called School Information Forms (SIF). As schools are located in villages and urbans, so information relating to villages and urbans have been collected in the forms called Village Information Forms (VIF) and Urban Information Forms (UIF) seperately.
