Abstract: From General: The Territory has a Secretariat-cum-District-Cum Block set up and all the functions are carried out as a single unit. The administrative head of the Territory is the Lt.Governor of Goa, Daman and Diu, who has been designated as Administrator of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The day-to-day affairs of the administration are looked after by the Collector. The Collector is the Head of Departments for all offices within this Administration. Collector is assisted by the Secretary to the Administrator. The Secretary to the Administrator also functions as the Coordinating administrative authority for the various departments in the Territory. He is assisted by the Asstt. Secretary to the Administrator.
