| Abstract: | From First Word: DPEP was introduced in Bongaigaon district as phase - II district in the later part of the year 1997 with an objective to improve the quality, increase access and retention and building an effective teaching-learning environment for primary education. The district has low female literacy rate and the community was not aware of the need of primary education. To bring any change under the prevailing scenario was not only challenging but generally deemed almost impossible . |
