Consultancy Services for Study on Drop Out Rates of School Children in Punjab. Final Report

Abstract

India‟s education system expanded exponentially over the past five decades. Its current achievements are grossly inadequate for the nation to realize its potential greatness. India‟s enrolment rate - cutting across gender, region, class, caste, states, rural-urban divides - has witnessed remarkable improvement in the last decades of 20th century. However, gap remains in retention rate/checking of dropout rates, which is the focus of the report.
