Abstract: Civil Works ceiling under SSA is 33% of total project cost. Under Civil Works provision of infrastructure such as NSB, ACR. child friendly elements helps in providing access and retention and quality of education through provision of BRCs & CRCs to children. Civil Works under SSA has been planned to executed through Vidyalaya Shiksha Samiti (VSS), Constituted as pc Vidyalaaya Shiksha Samita Act, 2000 on cost effective construction technology such as Stub Foundation, Rat Trap brick work and filler slab with the technical Support engineering team available at district and state level.
