| Abstract: | From Introduction: The National Policy on Education, NPE 1986, which has been modified in 1992 states that the Policy will lay special emphasis on the removal of disparities and to equalise educational opportunities by attending to the specific needs of those who have been denied equality so far. Regarding education of minorities, it states that “some minority groups are educationally deprived or backward. Greater attention will be paid to the education of these groups in the interests of equality and social justice”. |
