Abstract: SSA gave an opportunity to DSERT & PPU to take up the concurrent evaluation and understand the program in all its ramifications. This indicates pro-active agenda of SSA to universalize elementary education. Our sincere thanks are due to SSA and its functionaries. The DSERT guided the team at every stage, especially the then Director of DSERT, Mr.Jaganath Rao who is to be credited all appreciation for his excellent guidance at every stage of evaluation.
