Integrated Tribal Area Development Project Block Khatima District Nainital

Abstract

A number of steps hove been taken by the Central and State Government since Independence for the elimination of exploitation of the tribes living in the country. Efforts have also^ been made to raise the economic condition of the primitive people of the State during this period but for want of integrated area development approach for their emancipation and over all economic improvement, the desired results have not been obtained so far.. Therefore, the immediate and pressing need for the accelerated development of area involved can hardly be over emphasised.
