Analysis of Budgeted Expenditure on Education 1981-82 to 1983-84

Abstract

This publication which is brought out annually, gives a detailed analysis of Budget Provisions made by various States and Central Ministries for the development of education during 1983-84. As per the set pattern, Budget Estimates for 1983-84 also include the Revised Estimates of the previous year 1982-83 and Actual Expenditure of 1981-82 for various programmes of education being implemented in the States and at the Centre. The information contained in this publication has been compiled from Demands for Grants of the Central Ministries and the Budget Documents of the States and Union Territories as presented in the State Legislatures.
