| Abstract: | Mid Day Meal Scheme was introduced in Himachal Pradesh in a phased manner in selected blocks on 15th August, 1995. It was universalised in all blocks during 1997. The Government of India extended the scheme to Upper Primary classes with effect from 1st April, 2008. However, the State Government extended the scheme to Upper Primary with effect from July, 2008. |
