Executive Summary Gunotsav 2023

Abstract

Gunotsav is a programme designed for qualitative improvement in schools education which includes learning outcomes of children as well as co-scholastic activities. Quality education is a major concern of the State. Over the years, various efforts and initiatives have been taken for improvement of Children's Learning Outcome across the State. It is earnestly felt that several grey areas are still there in the State of Assam in the school education sector, such as decline in enrolment, achievement level of every learner, utilisation of available resources, adequacy in infrastructure availability, accountability of teacher fraternity, etc. which require immediate attention and supportive measures as well.
