Whereas it is expedient to establish and incorporate a new university to be called as the Karnataka State AYUSH University at Shivamogga, as a university of excellence in the areas of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa and Homoeopathy systems of medicine in the State to meet the ever increasing complexity of growth and development in the field of Ayurveda. |
