Abstract: The study attempts to focus on highlighting specific errors and mistakes committed by majority of students while writing responses to different questions asked in the question papers. The performance of students in respect to each question in the question paper used for Delhi Region as well as outside Delhi Region has been analysed. It includes qualitative as well as quantitative aspects of responses. It is hoped that questionwise and topicwise suggestions for remedial action will be put to best use for maximising students' performance in the subject. We hope the study will provide useful feedback to the schools.
