| Abstract: | The Government of Karnataka brought out the first HDR in 1999 and second HDR in 2005. Recognizing the critical importance of human development concerns at grass root level, the State Government has decided to undertake DHDRs in all 30 districts in the state. The main purpose of the DHDRs is to capture all the key dimensions affecting well-being of people at the taluk and district levels. |
