Report of The Expert Committee Appointed by The University Grants Commission for Consideration of The Proposal of Siksha "O" Anusandhan (SOA) for Deemed to be University Status

Abstract

The committee visited ail the constituent institutions proposed to be brought under the Siksha "O" Anusandhan (SOA) on the 9th and 10th December,2006, critically analysed the proposal for the strengths and weaknesses of these institutions, examined the relevant documents, interacted with the students, Faculty members, non-teaching staff and members of the trust separately during the visit. The nominee of AICTE could not join the committee. The committee was divided into sub committees to various constituent units as per the specialization of the members.
