Abstract: Inspite of adequate infrastructure available to the students and efficient administration, the school effectiveness is determined by the teacher. Of all the different indicators which influence the effectiveness of school, motivation and classroom practices of teachers are undoubtedly the most significant. Therefore, there is a need to have a band of teachers with best possible professional preparation to make a school more effective.
