dc.description.abstractThe report highlights the extent of effectiveness of the programme in terms of organizational efficiency, programme strengths and weaknesses, managerial capacities of JSS etc. The methodology included holding consultative meetings with all stakeholders by conducting four regional workshops wherein, all the directors of JSS in the country participated. Besides, the study team visited large number of JSSs across the country. The findings of the study have a strong bearing on policy implications for the Scheme of JSS and formed a major input for 11th Five Year Plan.Eng
