Odisha State Strategic Statistical Plan (OSSSP) 2011-2017

Abstract

Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Planning & Coordination Department have brought out a publication "Odisha State Strategic Statistical Plan (OSSSP)" under India Statistical Strengthening Project (ISSP) after a series of consultation with various Stakeholders. The Plan aims at reforming and strengthening the statistical system of the State. The Plan focuses on five major components: (i) Improving the coordination and management of Statistical activities in the State,(ii) Human Resources Developing (HRD), (iii) Strengthening Statistical Capabilities, (iv) Investing in Physical Infrastructure, including IT and, Improving Statistical operations, especially those supporting the cause of improvement in the quality and (v) Disseminating statistical data.
