| Abstract: | The estimate of State Domestic Product (SDP) is an important indicator for measuring overall growth of the economy. The Central Statistical Organization has introduced in the year 2006 the revised series with the base year 1999-2000, in the place of old series, i.e. 1993- 94 as the base year. On the same pattern, this Directorate has revised the estimates of State Domestic Product from 1999-2000 to 2006-07 following the methodology and guidance of Central Statistical Organization in estimating State Domestic Product for the new base year 1999-2000. |
