| Abstract: | Prior to the establishment of the ]joard in 1957, the University of Rajasthan OonduGted the High School Examination at the end of class X and the Intermediate Examination *at the end of class XII. It was in August September,1957 that the Govt.of Rajasthan in pursuance of the recommendations of the Secondary Education Commission, established a separate Board of Education to develop the system of Secondary Education in the state on modern, scientific and progressive lines. |
