Abstract

This report was prepared over a period of nearly eight months. What stands out the most is the eagerness of all stakeholders to share their views on measures to improve school education. It is always a matter of pleasure to acknowledge those people without whose inputs, big or small this compilation would never have been possible. The Review Committee was provided with an office at Defence Colony where the SCERT is located. The Committee is grateful to the then Director of Education Mr. P. Krishnamurthy for his foresight in providing a functional office which enabled work to start quickly.
