| Abstract: | During 1999-2000 all India GDP growth in real terms is placed at 6.4%, which means a decline from the growth rate of 6.8% during 1998-99. Growth rate is projected to decline further to 6% in 2000-2001, a fall of above 12% in two years. The growth rate of GDP from Agriculture and allied activities decelerated sharply to 1.3% in 1999-2000, from 7.2% in the previous year. |
