| Abstract: | On the basis of available indicators, it has been estimated that the growth in country's national income during the year 1977-78 would be about 5 percent, as compared with a growth rate of only 1.6 percent rise in agricultural production, with food output touching a level of 121 million tonnes, as against 111 million tonnes during 1976-77, has been the main contributory factor to this turnround. |
