Report on Medium Term Expenditure for Department of School Education. Chhattisgarh

Abstract

MTEF for School Education Department was prepared in 2010 and it is updated based on current situation. The specific objective is updating MTEF and alignment of it with the Annual Plan 2012-13. Also, MTEF as a -government strategic policy and expenditure framework within line departments provides greater responsibility for resource allocation decisions and its inputs can be considered for the approach paper for the Twelfth Plan, which is currently under preparation by the State Government, because the plan would represent outlook into the future taken at a particular time, while MTEF is a continuous process of making a forecast and assessing its validity as further progress is made in its implementation.
