Abstract

The Government o f India has constituted a High Power Panel under the Chairmanship of Dr. Gopal Singh (former Ambassador of India) with S/Shri L. Bullayya (former vice-chancellor), Hokishe Seffla (former Chief Minister, Nagaland), Arvind Netam. M.P.D. Jawahar Raj, N.C. Parasher, MP, Leon D ’Souza, MP, L.R. Naik, Shrimati Aloo Chhibber, MLC, and Ven’able Lama Lobzang, as Members and Dr. Rafiq Zakaria, MP, Member-Secretary, to go into the whole question of benefits of various fiscal policies of the Government, both Union and States, reaching the Minorities, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Weaker Sections of the Society.
