dc.description.abstract | The present report is based on the data collected through the 62nd round of NSS. It gives quantitative information on various characteristics pertaining to employment and unemployment and some characteristics associated with them at the national and state levels. This report also presents some quantitative information on current attendance in educational institutions for persons in the age group 5-29 years and on vocational training received by persons in the age group 15-29 years. Chapter One is introductory. Chapter Two gives the concepts and definitions. Chapter Three gives summary of the findings. Detailed tables based on the survey are given in Appendix A. The sample design and estimation procedure are given in Appendix B. Facsimile of schedule, canvassed during the survey is given in Appendix C. | en_US |
